Cell Tower

A1 Hrvatska disclosed a data breach that affected 10% of its customers, or around 200,000 clients. Other than verifying unauthorized access to their users’ databases, they have not provided any other information on the incident.

According to sources, the information disclosed included full names, personal identification numbers, physical addresses, and phone numbers. The company clarified that none of its users’ financial information has been hacked.

The company indicated that it is immediately alerting or contacting clients who have been affected by the aforementioned incident.

“A1 Croatia adheres to the highest security standards and data protection, and we will continue to make additional investments in improving the security environment. The recurrence of this security incident is not possible and has not had and will not affect the provision of services to customers.” stated in the company’s statement.

There are questions about whether the recent hack on Vodafone Portugal is related to A1 Hrvatska, as they are strategic business partners.
