Almost every new car sold today comes equipped with a video display for operating amenities such as the radio, climate control, and onboard navigation. However, for safety reasons, these features are disabled limited when driving.
Tesla, on the other hand, has introduced a new feature that enables drivers to play games on their iPad like screen WHILE DRIVING!
While this is an interesting innovation, it raises several issues and concerns regarding highway safety.
Several safety agencies have contacted Tesla to inquire about why a recent software upgrade seems to enable drivers to play video games while the car is in motion.
Tesla has not yet responded to NBC News’ request for comment on the matter. The company disbanded its public relations department last year.
