Meta has announced that it will be releasing new Facebook Reels features and increasing the maximum time from 60 to 90 seconds.
One of the new features is called “Grooves,” It uses visual beat technology to align and match the action of a video to the rhythm of the music that customers want to use. Instagram and TikTok already have this sort of functionality.
Another feature that has been added to Facebook reels is the ability for users to create reels using trending templates that they have recently watched. This feature is already accessible on TikTok and Instagram.
Meta appears to be gradually duplicating what was already done in Instagram reels to Facebook reels.
